Kevin Slayton served under both Democratic and Republican leadership, Kweise Mfume and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. For the past 5 years Kevin has been at the center of Maryland state politics where he has drafted and negotiated legislation on a wide range of issues, including health, housing, and education, as well as several important civil rights issues. He was also a lead lobbyist negotiator in the passage of the controversial landmark bill to provide in-state tuition rates for hundreds of students in Maryland’s immigrant community.
